The Interview
When Rupert told me the theme of Pre-Fall was Sixties inspired, I was so excited to create some content with a mod mood. The Sixties is my favourite decade for inspiration - from the films, music and fashion, nothing matches the energy, societal changes and visual leaps that came out of the period.

On a personal note my own style always has a nod to the era, whether that's my signature mascara-heavy make-up and heavy fringe combo or my preference for mini-skirts and cute flat shoes.
KIA IN MINI MIST HOUNDSTOOTH
The square toes and houndstooth motifs in Rupert's collection recall the signatures of the decade but with a modern twist, so I wanted to bring in a 2020 feel to the styling of these images too. I mixed in denim, vinyl and layers of chiffon, all in a monochrome palette, to get today's take on that retro inspiration.

I also had to get a cameo from my favourite 1960s singer, Dusty Springfield, in one of the still-life shots with my vinyl copy of Dusty in Memphis!
